FORT DAVIS : Waco Artist Joseph Magnano, Another. K. A. 9271977, who accumulated notoriety for his alleged "appropriation" of the Prada iPhone 5 case Marfa installation to March 9, will face all jury at the Jeff Davis Local courthouse on Tuesday, November 20 on two state jail crime charges of criminal mischief.

Magnano was arrested on vandalism expenses March 18 by Texas Category of Public Safety officials marriage ceremony artist reportedly covered the Prada installation with glittery blue paint spots and pasted the TOMS for the logo on its windows, properly screen-printed images of starving family portrait and other imagery.

Damages, according to former Ballroom Marfa Director Melissa McDonnell Lujan, experienced estimated to be between $10, thousand – $20, 000.

The vandalism/appropriation of Prada Marfa took all art community by storm, by way of stories of the work being through online art news sites which include Glasstire, Dazed Digital, and Tortuous, among others. The work also elicited solution from Michael Elmgreen, who planned out Prada Marfa with longtime collaborator Ingar Dragset.

Magnano faces around to two years in state offender and a $10, 000 fine in every infraction if found guilty.
