Kentucky included the first out-of-state prospect to their 2016 recruiting class in Jonesboro (Ga. ) 4-star cornerback Jordan Griffin (6-0, 170).
Griffin survivor's visit to Lexington was his third since September. He joins offensive tackle Landon Young and wide receiver Zy'Aire Barnes as 2016 commitments.
The Ga native was recruited by cornerback coach Derrick Ansley. The two come with built a strong relationship over the past month or two.
The 4-star is a teammate of the junior quarterback target Zerrick Cooper. Cooper recently named Clemson combined with Kentucky as his co-favorites.
Griffin is rated a 90 through process of 247Sports and is considered the nation's Number 25 cornerback. In addition to Kentucky, that she held offers from Clemson, Ole Miss, N. C. State, Cincinnati oh. and Wake Forest.
