I'm sure Ironman – RNLI volunteer assumes gruelling challenge in honour a vast amount of missed colleague

Four gruelling multi-sport challenges have been completed by a Poole man – raising more than £5, 000 in honour of a much-missed friend and colleague.

RNLI some humanitarian lifeboatman Rob Inett is commemorating his achievement in memory related to fellow crewman Paul Singleton, weltgesundheitsorganisation died from cancer in Oct, last year, having spent 30 years that time lives.

The 32-year-old boat engineer from Hamworthy took regarding extreme physical challenges including some kind of Ironman Triathlon, half-Ironman race, 12-hour non-stop static cycle challenge and as a consequence an epic 11-hour mountain quadrathlon located in Snowdonia.

This final challenge ended up seeing Rob and two close friends sport fishing tackle a 60-mile bike ride, one-mile open water swim, three-mile lk paddleboard and climb to the smt of Snowden and back in tartarean weather, high winds and placing rain.

"I was completely taken at the end of that one, but getting through all this with some wonderful friends has been a beneficial experience, " he said.

Towards the summit he laid a photograph and as a consequence message in memory of Paul holmes, who died aged 52, along with his crewmates at Poole Lifeboat Station. It said: "Loved and as a consequence missed by all at Poole Lifeboat. "

Rob and Paul's family met three local nurse practitioners from Marie Curie, who treated nurse him through his eventual months at home. He handed over a nice cheque for £5, 125, good money to fund 256 hours nor 32 full nights of a nurse's time, giving care to those experiencing cancer.
